Burwash woman starts cosmetic surgery advice website

Burwash beautician Sandra Jolly has launched a new website that documents her cosmetic surgery journey after choosing to undergo a facelift.

In 1975, Jolly started the first beauty salon in East Sussex. Now, she has released her innovative facelift diary on the Internet - the site provides information and photos for those considering facelift surgery.

It was after Jolly decided to undergo a facelift three years ago that she noticed a lack of guidance she needed on the Internet. She claims she was unable to find information on the transformation that would take place during and after her procedure.

“When you went on to search for pictures, all you seemed to find was two pictures, one had a miserable looking woman with lots of make-up,” she told This Is Sussex. “The thousands of sites available are all the same. My diary is not just the glossy pictures, it is what you will look like at each stage.”

Jolly started her website by posting photos of her taken one year before her facelift. From there, she posted pictures of every stage of the process, pairing the photos with explanations of what was done and showing the cuts that took place.

The facelift left Jolly with tighter skin around her cheek bones, removed the sagging skin around her neck and excess fat beneath her eye, and tightened the skin on her upper lip to remove wrinkles.

The whole process, from initial doctor’s appointment to full recovery, took about 10 days.

Jolly has made her site available to subscribers who pay a fee of £7.50 to view www.facelift-diary.com.
