Breast reductions reduce pain for many

While breast reductions are the fifth most common cosmetic surgery procedure in the US, many of the women who opt for the surgery are undergoing it for non-cosmetic reasons. Large breasts - or macromastia - can cause pain, discomfort, rashes and a restriction of activates. (more…)

Cosmetic surgery appeals to half of adults
Monday, May 11th, 2009A recent report from research group Mintel has discovered that almost half of all adults would consider undergoing cosmetic surgery.
The survey also found that tummy tucks were the most attractive procedure, particularly for mothers of young children with three out of five women in that category saying they would consider the treatment. Furthermore, mothers were overall found to be more likely to contemplate cosmetic surgery. (more…)
Dolly says Reese needs boob job to play her
Monday, May 11th, 2009Iconic singing star Dolly Parton has revealed her surprise that petite actress Reese Witherspoon is rumoured to be considered for the role of the country star in an upcoming movie about her life.
According to the Daily Express, he star, who is a self confessed big fan of cosmetic surgery, laughingly said that for Reese to play the part: “We’d have to get her a big ol’ boob job.” She then indicated that curvaceous star Scarlett Johansson may be better suited to the physical demands of the role. World’s first supermodel pledges support for cosmetic surgery
Wednesday, May 6th, 2009American supermodel Janice Dickinson has told an Australian newspaper that she supports women who have cosmetic surgery.
The self-proclaimed “world’s first supermodel” first achieved fame in the fashion industry in the 1970s and 1980s. In recent years, she has appeared as a judge on reality TV show America’s Next Top Model, after which she launched her own reality television programme, The Janice Dickinson Modelling Agency. (more…)
Boob jobs, iPhones and extra winter pounds
Tuesday, May 5th, 2009My mobile phone contract just ran out and, even though I didn’t really mean to, I found myself signing up for a shiny new iPhone! I was a little dubious at first and I spent most of the holiday weekend trying to get to grips with its touchscreen but now I love it. One of the best things about it is how easy it is to get online - I’ve checked my work emails out of work more often than ever over the last few days…
I was also excited to find out how easy it is to read news online on an iPhone, something that has certainly made travelling a lot more entertaining than usual. So I thought I’d share the two stories that really caught my eye. (more…)

Cosmetic surgery boosts confidence for brides

Now, many of those brides are turning to cosmetic surgery in order to ensure they look their absolute best when walking down the aisle.
According to the Daily Mail, the number of British women turning towards cosmetic surgery procedures before getting married has continued to increase over the past few months. Some surgeons have noted that procedures have increased by 75 per cent since January, and 60 per cent of those women said they were having the surgery specifically for their wedding day. (more…)
