UK cosmetic surgery patients seek to emulate stars

Cosmetic surgery patients in the UK are turning towards their favourite celebrities for inspiration when it comes to choosing the best surgery procedures.

A recent survey conducted by the British Association of Aesthetic Surgeons (BAAPS) found that cosmetic surgery clients are increasingly modeling their plastic surgery requests after celebrities they admire. (more…)

Survey shows increasing demand for boob jobs

More UK women are choosing to increase their bust size and purchasing breast implants, according to a new study.

The figures show more women, and even some men, are choosing to undergo breast augmentation than ever before, with the number of breast enlargement surgeries increasing by 27 per cent.

“When gravity takes its toll, you’re left with boobs that really only look good in a push-up bra,” said model Jodie Marsh who underwent a breast enlargement last year. (more…)

Burwash woman starts cosmetic surgery advice website

Soap star Pargeter opens up about cosmetic surgeries

Soap star Lucy Pargeter, often described as one of the sexiest women in the soap world, has come out talking about her cosmetic surgery procedures.

Pargeter recently had liposuction to get rid of her stomach fat. The 31-year-old Emmerdale actress is still recovering from the procedure and says she’s planning more treatment - including a second breast implant surgery. (more…)

Researchers at Aberdeen University interviewed 40 British women and 20 American women between the ages of 23 and 52 as part of the study. (more…)

Doctors warn against sacrificing safety for “bargain” liposuction

Men more comfortable with women enhancing their looks

A new poll has found that more men are becoming comfortable with the idea of women enhancing their appearance through cosmetic surgery.

Of the 500 men surveyed, there’s only a two per cent gap between the number of men who say they are turned off by facial cosmetic surgery, and men who say they don’t mind. (more…)
